Strategic Planning
Staff and Board members have been working over the past two months on developing a Strategic Plan for the Agency. Our work culminated at an intense two day Strategic Planning meeting that was held on January 15 & 16, 2010.
Staff involved include Ginny Acevedo, Leslie Foltz, Jennifer Carlson, Ryon Butterfield, Cindy Hansen, Terry Fredrickson, Heather Kemp and Stephen Mead. The four Officers of our Board of Directors also participated: David Davis, Steven Richert, Darcy Taylor, and Sue Johnson.
The process is being facilitated by consultant Laura King out of Idaho Falls.
At the two day meeting, we started by defining the core Values of the Agency, and then crafted our Vision and Mission Statement. We then did a S.W.O.T. analysis of the Foundation, identifying our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. From this analysis, we ended by establishing Goals and Objectives that will be instrumental in guiding the Agency over the next three to five years.
Copies of our Strategic Plan should be available the first part of February.
